About The Ball State Econ Club

The Ball State Economics Club serves as a social, networking, experiential, and intellectual outlet for students and faculty of the BSU Economics department.

The club was founded in the 1990’s and has taken many forms over the years. Recently the club has taken over office space in the economics department faculty hallway. It serves as a place for students, faculty, and friends socialize, work on club projects, and eat.

The mission of the club cuts across three elements. The club holds regular and special events that range from weekly student meetings to hosting paid speakers. The club takes enrichment trips ranging from local visits to businesses to international trips. Finally the club supports and promotes the academic and professional work of the department’s students and faculty.
